HOW MUCH WOULD WE RECOMMEND AS A DEPOSIT?

We urge clients to deposit an amount they are comfortable investing, however we recommend $100 or equivalent thereof.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR A DEPOSIT?

Deposits via the client dashboard/portal are instant. In the unlikely event where your deposit does not reflect immediately, please contact our support team to assist in rectifying the error.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR A WITHDRAWAL?

Withdraws for approved client profiles are processed regularly and should reflect within a few hours when banking with FNB, other banks could take up to 24 hours to reflect.

DO WE SELL OR OFFER SIGNALS?

No, we do not offer any trading advice or signals.

WHAT ARE THE COMMISSION CHARGES?

Commissions are charged on certain account types at $10 per lot.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU WISH TO CHANGE YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS SUCH AS BANKING DETAILS OR PERSONAL DETAILS?

WHEN IS THE RIGHT TIME TO TRADE?

We do not offer any advice, you may trade when you feel comfortable to do so.

WHAT ARE THE OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES OF THE MARKET?

The markets generally closes on Fridays at 23:00(GMT+2) and open on Sunday 23:00(GMT+2) however this may vary depending on market news or conditions.

DO WE TRADE ON BEHALF OF CLIENTS?

No, under no circumstances do we trade on behalf of clients. Trade245 is a broker that offers a platform for clients to trade the global markets.

HOW TO RESET YOUR MT4 PASSWORD?

Login to your dashboard/portal, click on trading accounts > Account Settings > Reset Password > Reset to a new password and do not share these credentials with a third party.

HOW TO RESET YOUR CLIENT PORTAL PASSWORD?

HOW MANY ACCOUNT TYPES MAY I OPEN?

Feel free to explore all account types, there are no limitations on account types available to clients, ensure you understand the terms of each account type.

HOW MANY DEMO ACCOUNTS MAY I OPEN?

We have no limitations on the amount of demo accounts available to clients.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM WITHDRAWAL ONE CAN WITHDRAWAL?

There is no limitations on withdraw amounts.

IS MY MONEYS SAFE WITH TRADE245?

Yes, your funds is secure as Trade245 is a product of Red Pine Capital (PTY) LTD, Johannesburg, South Africa, with company number 2014/220311/07 an authorized financial services provider, licensed and regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa, with FSP No. 46044.

Client funds are held in segregated accounts and therefore cannot be used for any corporate expenses.

WHAT IS A SWOP AND HOW MUCH IS IT?

Swops are generally charged after holding a position overnight. Swops charges are dependent on specific pairs and can be verified by right clicking on your market watch, under symbols and properties.

WHAT IS A NO SPREAD ACCOUNT?

AKA, Zero Spread is a discounted account type offered to suite particular traders & their trading styles. it’s suited typically for traders who prefer to open numerous positions for multiple pairs that move in different directions.

WHAT ARE REBATES?

A rebate is a small sum of money paid to a Introducing broker in return for client referrals.

WHAT IS MARGIN CALL?

Usable Margin will always be equal to “Equity” less “Used Margin. “Usable Margin = Equity – Used Margin, therefore it is the Equity, NOT the Balance that is used to determine Usable Margin. Your Equity will also determine when a Margin Call is reached, Margin call generally begins at 100%.

WHAT IS A SWOP FREE ACCOUNT?

Swop Free accounts are a limited offer to clients who would like to take advantage of our promotion, this account will not be charged swops however must remain active for more than 90 days before being archived.

WHAT IS A CENT ACCOUNT?

Cent accounts are another value add offered by us to give clients the ability to risk a minimum investment to learn how to become a successful trader.

WHAT IS LEVERAGE?

Leverage increases buying and selling power by providing traders with virtual capital.

Leverage is the capital borrowed by traders from their broker to increase the potential return on investment. If a broker offers a leverage of 1:100 for example, this means that it ” loans” the trader $99 for every dollar the trader deposit so the trader buying power is increased 100 times. So 1:500 means 500 times more buying and selling power

You should keep in mind that while leverage can significantly increase ones profit it also increases risk so you should be cautious when trading on leverage.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT ONE CAN DEPOSIT?

Payment via the dashboard/portal allows for a minimum of $5 or R95.

DO WE HAVE A NEGATIVE BALANCE PROTECTION?

Yes, client are not liable for an account that has a negative balance. A negative balance protection is enabled to correct clients accounts to zero automatically. Should your account not reset automatically please contact our support to rectify the error.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY WITHDRAWAL TO REFLECT?

Approved profiles with withdrawals are processed within minutes of your request,  and should reflect within 24 hours.

ARE CLIENTS ALLOWED TO OVER LEVERGAE THEIR ACCOUNT FOR EXAMPLE WITH R1000/R500 HOW MUCH POSITIONS ARE THEY ALLOWED TO OPEN UP ON NAS 100?

Clients are eligible to open as many positions per instrument type as they wish. please ensure you understand the risks associated with additional positions.

WHAT IS THE MARGIN STOP OUT LEVEL?

In Forex trading, a Stop Out Level is when your Margin Level falls to a specific percentage (30%) level in which one or all of your open positions are closed automatically (“liquidated”) by your broker.

DOES YOUR CREDIT DEPLETE YOUR BALANCE?

No, a credit can never deplete a balance, however credit can be lost which could deplete your equity.

IF LIQUIDITY IS LOW CAN LP INCREASE MARGIN IN SHORT NOTICE, AND WILL CLIENTS BE NOTIFIED?

Margin requirements can vary and are dependent on volatility. Due to the unpredictability of the markets, we cannot always ensure that clients are notified immediately. It is the nature of CFD trading that does not always allow for this, margin is always displayed on your trading platform, you are responsible to monitor these margin adjustments accordingly.

WHO IS OUR LIQUIDITY SERVICE PROVIDER?

Trade245 (Red Pine Capital (Pty)Ltd) acts as intermediary between the investor and MarketFinancials Limited, the counterparty to the contract for difference purchased by the Investor via Trade245, authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles with Security Dealer License no. SD006. All liquidity is provided by global tier 1 providers thereby ensuring the best pricing and execution at all times.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED TO APPROVE MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT?

A copy of your Passport/ID (front and back for ID card) and a bank statement verifying your address used on sign up.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY ACCOUNT TO BE APPROVED?

Using our third party verification process your profile can be approved instantly provided the information you supplied on sign up can be verified and validated.
